Viola Odorata Extract is a water-soluble brown fine powder. It is derived from the whole herb of Viola odorata L., a plant of the Viola family. Many major cities in China are cultivated, and Beijing, Tianjin, Xi’an, Taiwan, Shanghai, Guangdong, etc. are more common. It has the functions of dispelling wind and clearing heat, relieving cough and expectorating phlegm, sedative and antidiarrheal. It is clinically used for cold and cough, whooping cough, hysteria, insomnia, diarrhea and dysentery.Perennial dwarf perennial herb, 3-15cm high. No aerial stems, stoloniferous, pubescent. The leaves are basal, with long petioles; the leaves are round or kidney-shaped to broadly ovate-cordate, the leaves are smaller at the flowering stage, the length and width are about 1.5-2.5 cm, and the leaves gradually increase after flowering, and the length and width can reach 4.5 cm. 5cm, apex rounded or slightly acute, base deeply cordate, margin blunt, sparsely pubescent or subglabrous on both surfaces.
