The main component of Polygonum Multiflorum Extract is Tetrahydroxystilbene Glucoside, also known as stilbene polyphenols, which belong to polyhydrostilbenes and are widely found in mosses and higher plants. Stilbene glycosides have been identified as a phytoalexin, which is produced by plants under adverse conditions such as fungal infection, ultraviolet radiation, and mechanical damage. Under dry conditions, after 60Co-γ ray irradiation, there is no significant difference in its content.
