Levodopa Powder is an amino acid extracted and isolated from Seed of Mucuna Pruriens, which is the main active ingredient of Mucuna Pruriens Extract. It has attracted widespread attention because of its significant improvement in Parkinson‵s symptoms. In fact, it has no pharmacological activity itself, when it enters the central nervous system through the blood-brain barrier, and is converted into dopamine (DA) by the action of dopa decarboxylase to exert pharmacological effects, so it is also known as a precursor of dopamine (DA).
