Product Information
Salvianolic Acid B is formed by condensation of three Danshensu molecules and one caffeic acid molecule,which is one of the more studied salvianolic acids. It is the most abundant water-soluble substance in Danshen Extract , and it is the compound with the most content and the strongest biological activity in salvianolic acid. It has important pharmacological effects on heart, brain, liver, kidney and other organs.

Danshen Extract Salvianolic acid B can be dissolved in water, ethanol and methanol. The aqueous solution is relatively stable at pH 3 ~ 4. In neutral or alkaline aqueous solution, the color gradually darkens, and the content will decrease with the extension of storage time.
Main Function
1) It has strong antioxidant effect, and its action intensity is higher than that of vitamin C, vitamin E and mannitol. It is one of the known natural products with the strongest antioxidant effect
2) It has the effects of improving cerebral blood flow, anti platelet aggregation, anti thrombosis, inhibiting the increase of intracellular calcium content, scavenging free radicals and promoting cerebral angiogenesis. It can be considered an ideal drug with anti cerebral ischemia effect
3) It may play an anti-tumor role by inducing apoptosis of prostate tumor cells.
