Generally, Cyathula Extract can be divided into two kinds, with the differences as follows:
Both CHUAN NIU XI and HUAI NIU XI are traditional Chinese medicine. The differences between them are as follows: 1. The origin is different. CHUAN NIU XI is mainly produced in Sichuan and HUAI NIU XI is mainly produced in Henan; 2. The main clinical treatment directions are different. CHUAN NIU XI breaks blood and dredges meridians, dispels wind and dampness, is used for women‵s blood stasis syndrome, amenorrhea and rheumatic pain. It mainly treats red eyes, sore throat, hematemesis, nose bleeding, etc; HUAI NIU XI is good at nourishing the liver and kidney and strengthening the waist and knee. It is clinically used for a series of symptoms such as muscle weakness, waist and knee pain caused by liver and kidney deficiency. The effects of the two are roughly the same, but HUAI NIU XI is inclined to tonify the kidney and strengthen muscles and bones, and Sichuan Niu XI is inclined to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis.
