The method of adding NISIN E234 needs to be flexibly adjusted according to the food form, production process, and product characteristics. The core principle is to ensure its uniform dispersion and full exertion of antibacterial activity. Specific procedures are as follows:

1) For liquid foods (such as plant protein drinks, fruit juices, flavored milk, fermented beverages, etc.), the direct addition method can be used. First, calculate the required amount based on the production batch. Slowly sprinkle NISIN E234 powder into the liquid raw material being stirred, maintaining a medium-low speed for 15-20 minutes to ensure the powder is completely dissolved and without lumps.

2) For solid or semi-solid foods (such as sausage filling, ham raw materials, baking fillings, cheese base, ready-to-eat meal semi-finished products, etc.), the mother liquor dilution method is recommended. First, prepare sterile distilled water or food-grade deionized water, dissolve it at a ratio of 1:50-1:100 (NISIN E234 powder: water), and let it stand for 5-10 minutes to allow the active ingredients to fully stabilize. Then spray or pour it evenly into the solid raw materials.

3) The amount added must strictly comply with the food additive usage standards of various countries and regions (such as China GB 2760, EU EC 1333/2008, and relevant regulations of the US FDA, etc.), and must not be exceeded arbitrarily.
